The idea for Live Analytics originated back in 2004 among a small, tight group of researchers, data analysts & software engineers who believed in a simple yet powerful idea: people of varying educations, professions & analytics expertise should be able to use & create advanced data analytics & visualizations, anytime-anywhere, while engaging in real-time data sharing & live collaborations in order to better teach, learn & create value.
